SALISBURY — Wor-Wic Neighborhood School graduated 10 occupational remedy assistant college students in Could. The division held an awards and recognition ceremony to sign completion of the occupational remedy assistant program and an official invitation into the occupation.
Chelsea Hale of Ocean Metropolis was the coed speaker, and Stuart Gibbs, fieldwork coordinator and teacher of the occupational remedy assistant program, delivered the keynote handle. Pins have been bestowed on the graduates by Dr. Dawnn Thomas, division head and affiliate professor of the occupational remedy assistant program.
Together with Hale, the graduates included Emily Atkins of Crisfield, La’Toya Helpful of Laurel, Del., Regina Harr of Pittsville, Heather Lowe of Hurlock, Cassie Messler of Cambridge, Heather Moon and Meredith Myrer of Salisbury, Emily Delight of Greenbackville, Va., and Alyssa Weldon of Parsonsburg.
The scholars have been acknowledged for his or her accomplishments throughout their time in this system, together with visits to Walter Reed Nationwide Army Medical Middle and the American Occupational Remedy Affiliation headquarters, contributing to the 10-year reaccreditation of the occupational remedy assistant program and constructing a wheelchair entry ramp at a house in collaboration with Chesapeake Housing Mission.
