A Pickerington lady killed attempting to cease her automotive from being stolen along with her 6-year-old son inside was a 29-year-old public faculty worker and a single mom.

Alexa Stakely died at Mount Carmel East Hospital at 8:43 Thursday morning after struggling a deadly head wound whereas attempting to cease the automobile. Police stated she left her sleeping son within the automobile, a Honda CRV, whereas talking to the babysitter within the doorway of the home at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday on the 6300 block of Blue Knoll Drive on the White Oak Park Condominiums.

Stakely noticed the Honda pulling out from the driveway and ran to cease it, yelling for the driving force to cease, police stated. In some unspecified time in the future the Honda struck her, and he or she struck her head when she fell. Police are searching for two male suspects seen fleeing the scene on foot.
